Full Review for BestBuy.com

I am a frequent shopper at the BestBuy store in my area, so I was very excited about visiting the website. I shopped for my product and I found a great deal on some computer software. I was very impressed that next to items that were on back order, was a note informing customers of the delay. That was very helpful in determining whether or not to order the product due to wait time. The layout of the site was eye catching and I found no problems finding what I was looking for. Very easy to navigate. I was disappointed when it came time to checkout. I was looking for shipping charges and could not access that information until the end of checkout. This is when I ran into problems. I was very disappointed that the shipping charges were going to cost me as much as the products I planned on purchasing (they were on sale). What a disappointment! I navigated back through the site and tried to find out if I could purchase the products at one of the local stores. That was also disappointing! There are two stores withing 20 miles of each other; one store had half the items and the other store had my remaining choices. I called the stores to see if they would be able to ship to the other store and was told no. What is available at the stores is what they had. I was very disappointed with this carefree attitude towards me, the customer. There was no attempt at trying to sell me on a similar product, rain check, or even an apology for the inconvienence. Customer service was not good. I went back to the site check out and looked at the shipping charges again and decided that it was not worth the price. I was not going to pay the same price as my three computer games put together on shipping charges. I cancelled my online order. I would only recommend this site to consumers if they were able to get reasonable shipping rates on itmes. Something I could not.
